Believe in Yourself



Let me start with a small story.

There was one famous restaurant where top chefs prepared a wide variety of dishes. So, people quite often visit the restaurant. There was a lead chef who oversaw all senior and junior chefs and provided guidance as needed. In those groups, a new chef joined the restaurant; that person joined the restaurant with the recommendation of that restaurant's owner. So the lead chef is so jealous of that chef.

Lead chef is always getting angry with the new chef’s, he will not all that new chef to cook. He will simply tell him to clean and serve the kitchen. This new chef will do all cleaning and serving work.

One day the owner came to visit restaurant and talking with the lead about how is the work going on in restaurant. While talking with the owner, the lead chef complained that the new chef wasn't doing any work and wasn't cooking at all.

So, the owner asked the new chef to make some delicious dishes for him. But he failed to do that because he didn’t learn anything from the lead chef and got scolded from the owner. Owner warns him and says this is the last time; while I'm coming next time, I want you to make me a dish for me; otherwise, you will be fired. The new chef was so broken that he thought he was not fit to be a chef. Days passed away, and he didn’t learn anything. One day, he began practicing cooking by watching the senior and junior chefs' styles and attempting them at home.

One day a famous celebrity came to their restaurant, so all the chefs were very curious about making the delicious dishes. But on the other side, this new chef started preparing a desert. He also planned to serve his dish to that special guest without knowing to lead. All the other chefs helped him make that dish. As per plan, he also kept his dessert for guests.

The lead serves food to the guest, but the lead doesn’t even know the new chef dish was there while serving. The guest liked all the dishes, so at last she started tasting the desert and was so mesmerizing that she liked that desert very much and asked that the lead chef call the chef who made the desert.

The new chef gave an entry; the lead was so shocked and scolded the chef in front of the guest, why did you come here? But that new chef said he only makes this desert; all other chefs also said the same. All of them in the restaurant order the same desert, and that desert makes that restaurant even more popular. Then the owner promoted the new chef to leader.

Thus, anything is possible if you have faith in yourself and patience. Believe is similar to accepting or having faith.

Therefore, keep being confident in yourself and doing what you want, but make sure it doesn't hurt anyone else and that it's the proper thing to do.

Hi all, Welcome to Prithi’s blog. This is my very first blog, so here I am going to start with the topic, What makes me feel happy and peaceful? Part-1. Let’s get into the topic.
